On November 19 th from 9:30 – 12:30, as a result of ENGAGE.EU R&I an training will take place for which we would like to invite you. The training will be a mix of both theory as using encompass both theory, as practice with hands-on experience and examples. The training has been developed for ENGAGE.R&I task 4.2 and is open for participation. Priority for participation is given to task leaders within ENGAGE, but participation is open to all members of the alliance who lead projects. To make the most out of the session, it is best if you have a project for which you are responsible, so that you can use this during the training for the different exercises. The topics of the session are: Work breakdown structure: Start of planning is to break down and create an overview of all the different task involved in the project. Sequence the tasks, and critical path: examine where dependencies in the project are, what is the most efficient order and take a look at the critical path: the minimal time needed to finish the project Planning in a Gantt chart: Process the work breakdown structure and critical path in a Gantt chart, and how to efficiently keep it up to date Risk assessment: Research which risk applicable to your project, the severity of the risks (are they acceptable) and what to do to avoid them.
