International Competition Law

This course focuses on the EU and US to understand how competition norms tackle different anticompetitive practices from a global and comparative perspective. In particular it explores the rules of these two jurisdictions for merger control monopolization and abusive conduct and horizontal and vertical restraints. Additionally the course refers to the (case) law of other jurisdictions when appropriate. Finally it compares legal procedures and antitrust institutions.
