This course focuses on the EU and US to understand how competition norms tackle different anticompetitive practices from a global and comparative perspective. In particular, it explores the rules of these two jurisdictions for merger control, monopolization and abusive conduct, and horizontal and vertical restraints. Additionally, the course refers to the (case) law of other jurisdictions when appropriate. Finally, it compares legal procedures and antitrust institutions. �
