The overall aim of the Winter School Studium Oecologicum is to provide the students with state of the art knowledge and skills on the topic of sustainability across Europe. Interdisciplinary academic exchange and intercultural experiences are central elements of the programme. In line with the general ENGAGE.EU goals, the students will be equipped with hard and soft skills needed to tackle societal challenges and act as responsible future leaders. The Winter School Studium Oecologicum takes place from 12 to 23 January 2026. From 13 to 16 January, students will participate in several online elements, such as a kick-off followed by a first input session of their seminar, as well as several online workshops offered by lecturers of our partner universities to give further insights into their research-specific or country-specific sustainability aspects. The on-campus part will take place from 19 January to 23 January at the University of Mannheim, where students will participate in one of two interdisciplinary seminars.
